Chas is pretty much your average citizen in hell. There is nothing that particularly stands out about him, every day he wakes up, goes to work, goes home, spends his few remaining hours with pointless activities, goes to bed and repeats.
Who knows maybe he couldve had a more interesting afterlife but as long as he gets payed he doesnt really care. There is nothing to look forward to anyways he doesnt have any goals or aspirations and his former life as a human is long forgotten. Besides, he wasnt reborn with any strong or useful abilities. he can grow wings...? sorta? its not like they do anything, which isnt out of the ordenary since nowadays most demons remain weak due to lack of souls.
Sometimes he fantasizes about what would happen if Neziah finally let go of her redundant prison idea and he was actually forced to find something else to do but alas. Its never gonna happen. Chas often comes off as aloof and cynical. thats because he is (sorta). He likes to complain a lot but doesnt really mean half the stuff he says and gets confused when people take him seriously. His situation might seem depressing to many but most of the time he just feels neutral nothingness :^)
